About Me

I began my career studying geology and chemistry, developing a strong foundation in scientific analysis and problem-solving. My work in geophysics deepened my interest in modeling Earth processes and interpreting complex data, which first led towards teaching high school STEM, then eventually led me toward computing and software development.

After years of bridging science and technology in the classroom, I took the leap to study Computer Science at the graduate level. I’ve since gained experience in Python, Java, and C/C++, as well as algorithms, data structures, and software design. I’m especially interested in projects that merge geospatial data, scientific modeling, and computational methods.

My long-term goal is to become a software engineer who applies data-driven and scientific approaches to solve real-world challenges. I’m motivated by work that connects innovation with equity, accessibility, and impact—whether in research, community technology, or environmental applications.
